Mystery writer James Forrest on realistic characters at March meeting

Mystery writer James Forrest will speak at the Sarasota Fiction Writers meeting on March 6 at 6 p.m. at Selby Library. He will speak about creating realistic characters.

Forrest serves in law enforcement as a lieutenant in corrections. He is a Florida native who incorporates the Sunshine State, screaming dogs and dead bodies into his writing. His first novel was "Eye of the Storm." His second novel, "Black Flag Nation," involves a dystopian America facing corporate political control and the stirrings of a revolution.

Be sure to join us! Sarasota Fiction Writers general meetings are free and open to the public.
