Best-selling author Pat Gussin to speak at February meeting
Pat Gussin, a New York Times and USA Today best-selling author of medical thrillers, will be speaking to the Sarasota Fiction Writers group about the writing craft at February's general meeting.
Dr. Gussin's first book, Shadow of Death, also the first in her Laura Nelson series, has been used in university courses, and her books have won numerous awards and honors, including the USA National Book Award. Dr. Gussin, a board-certified physician, no doubt uses her experiences to inform her stories. She is also the owner of a vineyard in New Zealand with her husband.
